Biography
Wafa Saeed is a senior midwife Manager
She has completed more than 20 years clinical experience in many facilities, UNRWA clinics in Gaza,
Jordan and Dubai governmental hospital's 2010, and later on was called by the Corniche hospital to join
the midwifery team since 2013. She has served as charge midwife and LDU manager at Burjeel specialty
hospital in Sharjah where she helped establish the hospital LDU which started with 17 deliveries/month
and by end of her tenure at Burjeel they were conducting 100 deliveries/month. She also took the role of
quality project leader, nursing supervisor and launched antenatal classes from scratch for the Burjeel
Women’s community. She later joined NMC Hospital as nurse manager to the LDU. Her love of
midwifery has taken her on a journey and she now looks forward to completing her masters, and pursuing
further higher education she currently is a LDU manager at Millennium hospital in Abu Dhabi.
Many projects were under her lead parent education center activities, auditioning, preceptorship for new
midwifery team member and obstetricians, Wafa graduated 2002 as registered midwife from Palestine
college of nursing she received International diploma in computer study 2006 from NCC education,
Started milestone with study Master degree health care management with Westford – UK
Membership with Jordanian nursing and midwifery council, ICM, ENA. Since 2013-2018 Wafa has a lot of
contribution towards quality projects such as leading Delayed cord clamping 2015
clinical documentation improvement and coding, Currently working on support delayed cord clamping, to
start parent education classes
